Cryolipolysis:

It is a non-invasive, non-surgical method used in treating local reduction of fat deposits of the abdomen and the sides to reshape body contours. It is approved by FDA. Its aim is to remove effectively the fat and fat cells of the intended parts of the body.

During the treatment, a non-invasive fat epilatorguides the controlled cooling accurately to the intended parts and removes the fat tissues. When fat cells undergo cooling, this cooling is the beginner of a natural process in reducing fat deposits and fat cells, thereby reducing the thickness of fat layer of the body part under treatment. Therefore, the amount of fat and its protuberance decreases in all patients.

In fact, cryolipolysis is a process by means of which fat cells are removed without apparent damage to the overlying skin and other body tissues.

The mechanism of cryolipolysis:

The cooled fat cells undergo a phenomenon called apitosis. In fact, apitosis is the planned death of fat cells in which the thickness of the layer of fat is reduced considerably.

What happens to the dead fat cells? What process does the body perform on them?

The dead cell fats are broken and are eliminated by body immune cells. The fat freed from the dead fat cells is processed by the liver.

Advantages:

Immunity and the easiness of cryolipolysis: this process is safe which is mainly easy for the patients, typically, the patients are so in comfort that they can work with their computers and laptop, listen to music or perform natural things as working or exercising. The parts under treatment might become red and this redness might remain for several minutes or even several hours.

Non-invasive: no surgical method is indeed used in cryolipolysis while the results of treatment are similar and does not involve the side effects, breakdown or failures arising from surgery.

Low number of sessions: (one session or maximum two sessions):This method is the best one for patients short of time and those who do not have enough time toconsult a physician repeatedly for the sessions of therapy.

Irreversibility (because of the death of fat cells): This is the only nonsurgical health care method which is irreversible because of the removal of fat cells.

Which countries use cryolipolysis?

U.S.A, Canada, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and currently Iran. It is widely used.
